What are the requirements to receive a bid?
You will need to attend a minimum of three rush events, one of which is informational. This is a time for you to discover whether Phi Delta Sigma is a good fit for you and a chance for us to get to know you better as well. If you have any questions regarding rush, please message us via Instagram or contact any active brother of Phi Delta Sigma.
Do you have to be Asian to join?
No, Phi Delta Sigma does not discriminate against any race. We are an Asian Interest Fraternity, not Asian exclusive. Anyone of any race, religion, and denomination may join.
What are the fees that are required to join the Fraternity?
The only fees that will be applied are pledge fees, which generally go towards the pledge class, and then once you become a brother, there will be semester dues of a certain amount that is determined by the chapter. Because we are a non-profit organization, all of the dues will be going towards hosting different social and service events that may require money and other general fees that the fraternity needs to sustain itself.
Does being in the fraternity take a lot of time?
Honestly, it is totally up to the individual. If a member contributes a lot to the organization, most likely he will have a greater experience being in the fraternity. It’s a give-and-take situation. The more you give to the organization, the more the organization will give back to you.
